Celebrity MakeUp: Sameera Reddy

Not very often do we need to fault Sameera Reddy's makeup but unfortunately today isn't one of those days. Looking at the picture below, I cannot help but feel that there is something wrong with her makeup. Yes I said makeup and not the outfit cause the outfit deserves another post altogether :P LOL...

So anyways, coming back to the makeup, I really feel that there is something not working in it. It's difficult to say what it is really but I feel that the foundation has not been blended well and perhaps the shade of the foundation isn't matching her skin tone... Or maybe it is too much SPF in her base makeup?

Make Mishap: Poorna of Delhi Belly Fame

There have been times (with all of us) when we look at some pics of a recent party or a get together and cringe at the way our make-up has been perceived or contorted by flash photography. I guess that's exactly how Poorna here must feel when she looks at her photos in the papers the next day. For those who are still trying to figure as to where they have seen her, Poorna jumped to limelight after Delhi Belly... Remember now? Arre the Imran Khan smoocher chick! Now you got it didn't you? Sighhhh.. I tell ya S** sells for sure!

Too much foundation!

So anyways... Considering the hot James Ferriera dress that she is wearing (info courtesy highheelconfidential), I had hoped that the make-up would have been to the Tee as well but alas, the moment you get the base make-up wrong there isn't anything that you can do to salvage the whole look... The awesome chic necklace couldn't make it better either :(

 Well so lets just state the obvious that the foundation is all wrong... I was almost wanting to give her a benefit of doubt by saying that it might be because of the deadly combo of flash photography and SPF foundation that she looks so ghostly white, but then that isn't the only foundation issue Ms Poorna has to deal with. The main point of discussion here is the pasty look that could come with a heavy coverage foundation and no compact. On top of it, lather on some pink cream blush and well this sure is a recipe for disaster!
