Hello beauties! Winter is almost gone but still dry skinned people are born to moisturize their skin now and then in all the seasons. Who doesn't like soft and moisturized skin? If you skip your moisturizer, all you get is lifeless, dull and unattractive skin. Dry, normal, oil, sensitive or any skin typed you're, moisturization is an important step in daily skin care routine. Today, I am reviewing  a product which claims to work on normal to dry skins and let us see how it works. The name itself is attractive, "Skin food" so I was super excited to use this product even I don't have that much dry skin. This is a product from Iraya, an ayurvedic brand. Let us move on to the product description and review now.

My Experience with this Product

I love anything natural on my skin. That too Almonds? They are my favorite skin nuts. Whenever my skin feel lifeless or tanned I just smash some almonds with milk and cover it up. An instant skin nourishing mask is done. When I came to know about this skin food, I was super excited because of the almond content. The product comes in tub packaging, which is not so preferable for me but still it is okay because a vacuum lid is inside to prevent spillage. The tub is transparent, firm and travel friendly.

   A very thick, creamy rich consistency it has, as same as cow butter. The cream has a slight peachy tint, just very slight and smells good too, even bearable for sensitive noses. Due to the thick consistency of the cream, it takes little more time to get completely absorbed by the skin. The product claims to work on normal and dry skin and so I felt this a little heavy on my normal skin. I guess it is one of the best winter pick for normal skins. Oily skins never go for it because your skin will end up in looking greasy. Do you have dry skin? Then this one is best for you anytime.

This cream doesn't make skin look much greasy, but actually my skin felt greasy a bit after application. Even though it feels heavy on my normal to oily skin, I used this as a night cream to notice the results. After two weeks of usage, my skin is noticeably soft and firmer than before. It also helped reducing some fine lines under my eyes. So, overall it is a great smooth moisturizer for dry skin types as per the claim. Aloe and sandalwood ingredients are more plus. It may be pricey for few, but worthy for the results. 40+ women will love it however even young ones can try it.

PROS

1. Smooth, creamy and thick consistency which is easily spreadable. 
2. Smells good. Some herbal + nutty mix it is. Even sensitive noses wont hate it. 
3. Contains natural ingredients like Sandalwood, Aloe and Sesame.
4. Really it acts as a great skin food for dry skins! Heals and nourishes well. Worthy try!
5. Winter pick for normal skin types. Nourishes skin well.
6. Softens and firms skin with regular use. Difference in fine lines is visible.
7. Can be used as a night cream too with slight massaging.
8. A great natural anti aging product for 40+ beauties. It actually nourishes well. 
9. No side effects and I have experienced no breakouts too.
10. Pack is firm and travel friendly.

CONS

1. Not for oily skin. Do you think this as a con? Of course not because they doesn't claim (I am just mentioning)
2. Normal skins may feel it greasy on summers.
3. Tub packaging is not hygienic. I would love to get it in tube. 
4. Might be little pricey for a moisturizer. But it is worthy as well.

Overall Rating: 4/5

My Recommendation: This is a must try skin food for dry skin types. It nourishes and moisturizers well however dry your skin is. The staying power is great too. Normals, get one in winters and a big no-no for oily skinned girls.

Will I Repurchase?: Of course yes! because it improves my skin softness and texture. Waiting for next winter!

The Packaging

The 200ml pack comes in pump packaging (The one I got) and the 100ml one in flip type cap. It looks so lovely and cute, every squeeze is in control too. It is a transparent plastic bottle, very sturdy and thus it will be easy to find out how much product is left inside. Being hygienic and also travel friendly, I don't think it will create any mess. Perfect Packaging!

Colour, Consistency & Texture

I fell in love with the colour to be frank. It looks like a smooth butterscotch ice cream filled in the bottle. The moisturizer is in milky pale yellow colour and the texture is very smooth. The moisturizer is not thick or powdery, it has the ice cream consistency, neither thick nor too runny. Perfect for a light moisturizer. I can feel the turmeric and sandalwood smell in it and so the fragrance part is quite good too. Completely bearable for even sensitive noses, moreover it's very fresh and lovely.

How it works on Me

This sandalwood and turmeric moisturizer is for normal to dry & mature skin, though I tried it as the winter chillness doesn't completely get vanished off. This moisturizing cream should be used very little on normal and oily skin types, or else you will feel greasy. Dry skins will love this to core, it's a skin food for you in summers, winters and whatever the season is. This moisturizer spreads over my facial skin very smoothly and quickly, I needed just a single drop for my whole face. My skin was moisturized and fresh throughout the day, however oily skins may feel it a bit greasy. My mom tried this product and said it made her fine lines vanish a little. So overall, its a good product for normal to dry and mature skins as per the claim. I can't reduce ratings for the greasy feel as they doesn't claim for "Oily skins". but girls! Cheer up. There are many more variants in this range, check out their site for more info.

1. Yummy butterscotch colour and smooth texture. The texture is perfect for a moisturizer.
2. A good sandalwood + turmeric fragrance which I could really feel.
3. Very affordable as you get a huge quantity for 220 bucks. You can get it more cheaper from leading online shopping sites. A single bottle will last for ages. A great buy!
4. Hygienic and travel friendly pump bottle packaging.
5. Doesn't show any side effects on my skin.
6. Made my skin tight and soft with regular usage. 
7. Reduces fine lines up to an extent has the ingredients have anti-aging properties.
8. Sandalwood and Turmeric are the main ingredients. What natural you want more than these?!
9. Great shelf life of 3 years.
10. This is really a boon for dry and mature skins in all the seasons.
11. Fresh and lovely fragrance.

CONS

1. Availability is the only problem though you can easily get it from leading online shopping sites in great discounts.

My Recommendation: Dry skins would love it and stick to it! Perfect for normal skins in winter. And oily people, not for you. Try the other variants from this range.

Today I am reviewing the Himalaya Herbals Footcare cream which I have been using for past 3 weeks. I never took foot care that much important in my skincare routine as I get no cracks or tightness on my foot skin. But this winter when I lost the softness a little, I realized nourishing feet is important too, to maintain it soft and beautiful. I always do pedicures in weekends but footcare cream? Uff no.. this is my first one and let me share my experience with this footcare cream from Himalaya Herbals brand. The Packaging

Thank god it's not tub (Unhygienic). The product comes in a white with orange coloured tube, wrapped with a paper box which looks cute with a foot shaped card. The tube looks very simple, yet sturdy with a green coloured screw cap like every other Himalaya Herbals products come. I can easily carry it around as there is nothing to fear about leaking or something else. Overall, the packaging is not that cute, but simple, perfect and best for usage.

Colour, Consistency & Fragrance

This foot cream is thick, beige in color and smooth in texture. Though the consistency is thick, the cream spreads quickly onto the skin without leaving any greasy feel or whitish cast. The fragrance is little herbal + little floral mixed, also had a slight powdery smell. For a foot cream, the smell is not that overpowering. It's good and bearable still I wash my hands after using this cream.

How it works on Me

I am blessed with no cracks on my heels and hence I asked my mom to try this cream too. First, let us see how it worked on me. The cream instantly made my feet smooth, soft without any greasy feel and my feet felt soft for 5 yours, then I had to reapply. It vanished fine lines on my feet and what a magic! It cured the wound that i got because of my new slippers. And yes! I saw a great difference on my feet within 3 days. It improved the texture of my feet overall. So what my mom said is that her heel cracks very controlled and prevented within a week of usage and she also felt a slight change over the cracks. Overall, I guess this would be everyone's summer pick, sweaty feet may feel it best in winters. Decently priced, simple yet good packaging and for all the above reasons such as no greasiness I love this product. It also comes in a bigger pack of 50g, but I am not sure about the prize. The product does what it claims! (That too very naturally) :D

5. Simple, yet sturdy packaging. Travel friendly.
6. Contains natural ingredients such as Sal, Fenugreek and turmeric which are very good for skin.
7. Great for usage as an after pedicure foot moisturizer.
8. Prevented nail breakage up to an extent.
9. The fragrance is not that over powering. Decent for a foot cream.
10. A great difference in foot texture is seen within 3 days, so the claims are true.

CONS

1. This cannot be taken as a con, but I felt a little more moisturizing effect will make this a best foot cream for winters too.  
2. Contain parabens :( (Every other product do so nowadays)

My Recommendation: A great pick for everyone, The best pick for sweaty feet as this is non greasy and I am not sure above extremely dry and cracked heels, give a try though!

We have already seen the review of Pulpy almond honey face wash from this brand and this is my second using product from them. I am so much impressed of this product at first sight for the "Skin Repair" claim. Who doesn't like their skin to be perfect? So, I have been using this cream for past few days and now comes my review.

My Views and Ratings

The Packaging

This product comes in a thick transparent plastic bottle with a press type inner lid and a silver coloured screw cap. The cap is stiff, hence this becomes travel friendly. And it would be easier for you to find how much product is left inside because of its transparency. I think you need to put a hole in the center of the inner lid in order to take the lotion out. I feel it a bit tricky and expecting some more easier packaging from Auravedic like tubes or squeeze types. Thank god it's not a tub! Hygienic bottle it is!

Colour, Consistency and Fragrance

The lotion is milk white in colour with a normal to runny consistency and smooth texture. To say about the fragrance, really I can't express it properly. It's a bit floral, bit herbal and a bit medicinal too. The fragrance is not fruity or sweet but still it has a bearable natural smell. Sensitive noses may feel a bit heavy but the smell gets milder few minutes after the application.

How it works on Me

I squeezed a bit of lotion in my palm, dotted it all over my facial skin and started to massage. The lotion got absorbed quickly without leaving much greasy feel(but oily skins may feel a bit greasier) and it also doesn't leave any whitish caste over my facial skin. After few minutes, the greasy feel and the fragrance vanished. Then my skin felt so soft, smooth and nourished!  With regular use, it made my pores tighten and also helped in improving the texture of my skin. This is what I experienced with this facial skin repair lotion. As I don't have any wrinkles or fine lines, I can't say about this part but my aunt who used this felt it helps her wrinkles too. So, I guess it has anti aging properties also. Overall, I would say that it's a great pick for dry skins, normal skins (Night usage is best) and I don't think this will work on oily skins. The lotion doesn't break me out and doesn't give me any other side effects. It does what it claims because I really saw a good improvement over my skin's texture. Worth a try!

10. A single bottle lasts really long as a tiny squeeze of lotion is enough for the whole face and neck. So, I would say it as an affordable buy.

CONS

1. Not for oily skins as it may give a slight oily feel. I am not sure about it, you can still try this lotion in dry winters.
2. Packaging can be little improved. (Can't be taken a con, because it comes in a very hygienic bottle)
3. The fragrance can even be little milder. So that sensitive noses will feel it good. 

My Recommendation: A big yes for dry skins, normal skins and matured skins. It retains the skin's elasticity as it claims. Also acts as a great moisturizer for extremely dry skins. Not a must product for oilies, yet do try it in dry winters.

The Packaging

This product comes in a white with orange coloured tub with a screw type cap and a white vacuum lid inside it. I hesitated at first and got little disappointed because it comes in tub as I always feel tub packaging unhygienic! (have to dip your finger every time into it) But for the consistency of the product, it can't be squeezed easily from a tube or a bottle, so the tub is rightly selected for it I guess. Still I expect an alternate packaging for this because it's little tricky to take out the lid and take the product out without wastage or spillage. Other than this, I am okay with the sturdiness of the product which makes it very travel friendly.

Colour, Consistency and Fragrance

The face wash is dark peach in colour and is very concentrated as well. It has a very thick consistency but still a very little scoop is enough for every wash as it spreads incredibly smooth over my facial skin. It looks pulpy as said in the name and so I loved the texture very much. About the fragrance, it is just so yummy. I can really feel the smell of honey and some essential oils in it every time I use it. Honey is a natural skin friendly ingredient as you all know. Overall I loved this face wash very much for it's concentrated natural consistency, as well as the fragrance. I loved smelling it all the time! Nothing bad I find in it.

How It Works On Me

The very first time I got this, I worried "Oh so thick! How it's going to spread on my face easily?" hence I scooped a lot, poured some drops of water into it and started lathering. I was rubbing my hands very hard. Not much lather at all! Got a very bad impression. Then I worked it out on my face by smoothly giving little strokes. The smell was yummyyyy!! I also guessed that it won't get washed off so easily for its thick consistency. But what a magic! it requires a very small amount of water to get washed off. My face is squeeze clean then! I really couldn't believe.

    My skin became instantly softer, smoother and radiant. All the bad impressions which I got before were broke into pieces that second. I fell in love with this face wash! It cleanses all the dirt, pollution, oiliness and also left my skin nourished. This is not much lathering, but really cleanses well than many other lathering face washes. I tend to have normal to oily skin in sunny days, it suited me well. I felt light, nourished and fresh. My mom who has dry skin felt this good too! She said that this one is very nice and she's going to use this one thereafter all the time. I really find no bad about this face wash expect the tub packaging. But it wont be a big con seeing the benefits. Extremely oily skins may feel this little heavy on sunny days but it works really well with most the skin types. This one is going to my HG list :D

PROS

1. Well concentrated pulpy consistency.
2. All natural ingredients like sweet almond oil, honey, saffron extracts, rose oil etc. They are very natural and good for our skin. Even sensitive skins will find it good.
3. No parabens, SLS, Harmful Chemicals and Colours (Double great!)
4. Even though the consistency is quite thick, a very little amount spreads over the skin easily and gets washed off easily. Thus, the product will last for many days.
5. A great pick for dry skins as this is very nourishing.
6. Makes skin soft and smooth instantly.
7. I didn't experience any breakouts or acne while using this. Totally natural & Side effect free.
8. It suits normal skins well too. Cleanses out all the dirt, pollution and nourishes without any slippery feel or oiliness.
9. Affordable for the worth (It lasts long as a tiny scoop is enough for a wash)
10. Travel friendly as the cap is sturdy.
11. Yippee!! Last but not least! It's fragrance, just takes me away. Very natural honey and essential oil smell it has! Not sure about how others feel but it is not going to affect even sensitive noses.

CONS

1. The tub packaging :( Makes it unhygienic to use (Well this can't be taken as a con for the worth and consistency of the product, this much well concentrated product can't be squeezed easily from a tube)
2. Availability is the problem. It is not available at many places. But can be purchased from many leading online shopping sites.

I am not going to count these silly cons in my overall rating! This product is going to my HG list for sure! :)

My Recommendation: Sensitive skins, Dry skins, Normal skins listen.. Please get this one without fail! This is such a wonderful natural pulpy nourishing face wash. It instantly softens skins and nourishes it without any greasiness. Not sure about extremely oily skins, this might suit you in dry winters.

Overall Rating: 5/5 (I can't see the tub packaging as a con while seeing these much benefits) I love this product very much!

Will I Repurchase?: Sure! Every time.. This one is going to my HG list!

Hey guys and girls! Winter is coming to an end soon but still the chillness in air remains. This dries out the skin and makes it dull due to excess moisture loss. We all, especially dry skinned people need a good nourishing body lotion to retain skin's moisture and softness. My recent pick is "The Nature's Co Lily Of The Valley Body Lotion" from the Atmospure range. I am using this one for past few day and now I am reviewing it here. Before that let's see few lines about The Nature's co. All their products are totally vegan and non tested on animals. They don't even use ingredients like milk, honey, beeswax which are a few of the essential materials in any skin care product.The material that has been used for packaging is recyclable and bio-degradable. Isn't it interesting? I feel very safe, secure and great while getting their products. Okay, now.. Let's move on to the Review.

The Packaging

The Nature's Co Lily Of The Valley Body Lotion comes in an attractive rectangle container (Bio-degradable too) which is in white with blue colour combination, so lovable. It has a sturdy flip top cap hence, this becomes travel friendly too. The doesn't leak or something, and fits compactly in the package because of its shape. There's a little brown pamphlet tied to the neck of the container (Written about The Lily of The Valley) with a thin jute twine which made it look so natural. Overall, the packaging is very classy and I loved it to core! I can't say any bad about this at all. You would have guessed my rating by now. He he..You're right.

Colour, Consistency & Fragrance

The day I got this product, I opened the cap and dropped out some lotion on my wrist at first. Oh god! It's so milky white and creamy, same texture like that of vanilla ice cream (Little thinner than that). The lotion is neither too runny nor thick, the perfect "Lotion" texture it has. Because of these two things, colour and consistency, I fell in love at first sight with this lotion. To say about the fragrance part, it is so unique and different. I felt the smell is very natural and as same as essential herbs, little flowery too. Nothing to say bad about it because it has a great rich fragrance which made me feel that I am using a "All natural product". I totally satisfied with this body lotion and started loving it before I started using it itself. Hats off!

How It Works On Me 

I guess you would be eager about knowing this part now because I gave full ratings for the packaging & CCF parts. Now I will share with you all my experience with product. As mentioned in the pack, I applied this lotion onto my skin after bath, when my skin was moist. It glides onto skin very smoothly and gets absorbed within seconds without leaving any greasy feel (as my skin is extra dry in winters) And yes it does leaves a shiny cast which lasts only for minutes, then disappears. Of course it's not any greasy at all unless you are a oily beauty. The pleasant fragrance of this lotion makes me feel fresh even after long hours of every application and thus I would say that the fragrance stays for a decent time. The claim is very true that this lotion is for sensitive skins as it doesn't even cause a single odd thing or side affect on my sensitive skin. It's baby pure in my point of view.

   Will you believe this? A non greasy lotion stays on my skin for more than 8 hours!!! A great surprise. It moisturises skin well, instantly softens it and stays for a very long time too. If you are residing in a very cold place, this may stay for little short time, but even after the moisturising effect disappears, this doesn't let my skin dry. The skin is smooth throughout the day! This lotion is a great boon for nature loving dry skin beauties! In rougher parts like knees and elbows, it is recommend (by  me) to apply twice in a day for better results. I apply this lotion after ever bath (Once in the morning and once at the night) and totally loving its benefits on my skin. It made my skin more smoother than ever before! Overall, this is a great product for dry skins from TNC (The nature's co)

PROS 

1. A naturally made product (It is TNC..!!). Hence, no chemicals, no harsh preservatives, no side effects! A great buy and worth every penny. 
2. Smooth, milky texture which glides onto skin and gets absorbed easily.
3. The yummy, natural and rich fragrance that stays on skin for a decent time.
4. No greasy feel, a perfect nourishing body lotion for dry skins, especially in winters.
5. Attractive, hygienic and travel friendly packaging.
6. Sensitive skins will feel it very nourishing and calming.
7. Cools down skins and softens instantly.
8. Great staying power! This wont let your skin dry or stretchy for 8 hours!
9. Contains ingredients like Olive oil, Vitamin E and veggie glycerin which are essential for nourishing dry skin and preventing dryness.

 CONS

The price!! May be little expensive for some people (but worth every penny)

This is not for you if you have oily skin. Normal skins may feel a bit, only a bit greasy in hard summers. (Summer or winter, dry skins will love it totally)

Nothing else!! It's a great buy. They didn't claim that this lotion is for oily skin so they live upto their claims, why not? Does more than that. 

My Recommendation: Dry skins, Most welcome. A must try product for you! This is going to be your HG body lotion once if you try this. Suitable for all the seasons. A very natural product from TNC..! I highly recommend this. (Normal skins will also love this in winters, but not recommended for oily beauties)
