Ok, those of you have dry, rough hair raise your hands? And now those who are suffering from hair fall and hair thinning, raise your hands? Ahh... I know many hands will be raised. All hair problems in one, and you can take the perfect example of my hair. Dry, thin, dull and breakage. Consulted dermats, hair specialists, ayurvedic doctors, gobbled down medicines like food for months and applied all the tinctures and connotations, but the hair quality won't budge to improve.
             I was so irritated and bugged up with comments from relatives about the deteriorating quality of my hair and the hair thinning that showed up my scalp from a distance. In desperate need of some quick fix, I started searching the internet, found many waste as well as useful tips. In my quest, I came to know the harmful chemicals in our shampoos and conditioners that lead to hair fall and hair thinning and came across some organic brands for my hair.
        I know you are bored to death by my story and to quickly come to the point, today I am going to review one miracle of a product for hair, which I discovered (!) in my search – Soulflower Sandalwood Geranium Shampoo Bar. Soulflower shampoo bars remind me of those old shikakai bars that my grandmother (maternal) used to use on her hair. She had a thick long mane. After doing some research, I bought two soap bars from Soulflower.

My Experience with Soulflower Sandalwood Geranium Shampoo Bar:

To put in very plain and simple... I love it. The shampoo bar has come as a savior for me. It cleanses well, the oils keep my hair from drying too much and about hair fall... it has drastically reduced. I am floored by this 100% vegan shampoo. The bar is red in color; though don't confuse it for emitting any rose aroma. I am completely flattered by the exotic natural ingredients of the soap. It’s very easy to apply. All you have to do is, rub the soap directly on your scalp or you can even lather it on your palms and apply. Doesn't tangle hair and leaves the hair with good volume. Also my hair fall has reduced. The soap lathers very well and I have generally not felt the usage of double application unless I have oiled my hair pre-wash.

The bar claims to be safe for chemically treated hair, colored, children's hair. This is free from all the chemicals namely SLS, SLES, parabens etc. I now very carefully read ingredient list before buying any product for my hair.

Since the bar is huge, I cut it into three pieces (recommended) for ease of use and to avoid wastage of product. I have completed using the bar and it lasted me for good three months with twice a week application.

Pros of Sandalwood Geranium Shampoo Bar:

• Aroma of the shampoo bar
• Lathers and cleans very well
• Does not require much quantity, even for oiled hair
• Will last easily for a long time
• The exotic list of ingredients
• Free from SLS/SLES and parabens

Cons of Sandalwood Geranium Shampoo Bar:

• Could not find any but only if they could lower their prices a bit, I would buy this in bulk! (hehe)

This is a product that I got as a gift from my sister in law who lives in Belgium.  I am not familiar with their products but after using the lipstick and reading others reviews I found it to be a good product. It is produced in Germany and is mostly sold in the E.U. and in the U.S.  The one reason I decided to review this lipstick was because of their devotion to the 'cruelty against animals' cause.  For those of your who do not know me I am an animal activist and I have stopped using animal tested products.  Essence is strictly against any kind of animal testing whatsoever.  It is absolutely awful to torture animals for the sake of beauty products

Their products stand for trendy and high quality cosmetics at a sensational low prices because they do not use costly advertisements using models or celebrities, expensive tv spots or print ads in magazines.


Product Description:
# 40 Look at Me is part of the 2012 spring/summer collection.   I used an Essence  product for the first time.  I liked how it felt and if given a chance I would like to try out other colours and a different finish, because frosty lipsticks are for a younger lot than me.  I would not even feel guilty about over spending because essence products are a  fantastic buy for makeup fanatics looking to stock up on a budget. 
  
They have added two more shades to their spring/summer collection and so all of the 16 colors have been bumped up to the fall/winter season 2012.  

 
Price & Quantity: $ 2.49, $4 AUD  for 4 gms
 

Key Ingredients: Not mentioned on the tube but it is mentioned in a PDF file on the site.  Few key ingredients would be castor seed oil, lanolin, paraffin,carnauba wax and avocado oil. The rest are chemical names.

 

My Experience with Essence 40 Look at Me Lipstick :

Packaging: These lipsticks come in color-coded packaging.  That means the lipstick tube is the exact same color as the lipstick making it easy to reach for your favourite shade. When you open the tube, the top half of the inner tube is plastic and it is not a problem really.  You can see how much product is left at all times.  My only problem is that these lipsticks do not come with any kind of seal!

 
Colour, Consistency & Texture: It is a sizzling sheer beige-brown that lights up your lips with a soft gleam.  It is a frosty lipstick with some shimmer but it is not over the top at all.  If you are looking for a creamy nude color that doesn't lean too pink or too beige this is definitely it.  Almost close to MAC blankety lipstick excluding the frost and the cheap price.  I hardly got any smell when I used it.   In the pictures I have also lined my lips with a bit of a rose coloured liner and that totally changed how the colour looked on my lips.  I was quite happy to use it like that.
 

How it works: This lipstick is soft and velvety to apply.  It does contain shimmer along with being frosty.  It does not settle in lip lines but one must exfoliate the lips before using this.  Frosty colours do tend to draw an audience and you wouldn't want dry flaky bits of skin peeking out from beneath it would you?
 

Pros of Essence 40 Look at Me Lipstick:

• Inexpensive - Budget brand
• Easy to use
• Does not test its products on animals
• Does not settle in lip lines
• Pretty nude colour
• Goes on smoothly
• The shimmer is not gaudy
• Colour co-ordinated container
• Even Application
• Long Lasting
• Moisturizing
• Pleasant Tasting
• True colour swatch
• As good as a high-end brand

 

Cons of Essence 40 Look at Me Lipstick :

• Limited selection of colors
• Not available in India
• Frosty shade that most Indian skin tones cannot carry off
• Availability is limited
• Not available online yet
• Not suitable for work because it's frosty
• Does not come packed or sealed.  It can be tested at the store

Would I Repurchase Essence 40 Look at Me Lipstick ? Yes and no.  No, not that colour but yes different shades and other products by the brand. 


A note of warning: Frosty and shimmery high gloss lipsticks look best on the young because these draw a great deal of attention to lips so becareful when you select lipstick.  It is not just about color but also about the finish. As you age you cannot ignore the fact that certain colours become a total no no. Matte lipstick is best on certain age groups and so are glossy, high sheen lipstick styles.

Face wash, scrub, cream, emulsion, serum and mask are part of this series. Somehow I really don’t like skin whitening products because most of them are drying in nature. Once I used Olay cream and it broke me out crazily :( but still the packaging, reviews on many blogs attracted me a lot and I have to try something from this range :p so I picked this white glow scrub and here is my experience and detailed review on it.



Product description:

My Experience with Lotus Herbals WhiteGlow Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub:

Packaging: The product comes in a pretty white tube with a metallic cap but this tube is not at all travel friendly as the cap is loose and the tube tends to break easily in case if it fell down.

Colour, Consistency and Fragrance: This scrub is creamy white in colour and thick in consistency. It has a very artificial smell which is very disturbing for my sensitive nose.

How it works: I have a love and hate relationship with Lotus Herbals. Some of their products (Berry Berry scrub and 4-1 sunscreen)suits me well but some make my skin dry (there face packs including fruit pack which is meant for dry skin). Okay let me concentrate on this product. I didn't have a good experience with this product. This scrub just adds a lil glow to my skin after application which lasts hardly for 10 minutes. I am using this scrub regularly twice a week for more than two months to see the effect but to be frank it does nothing to my skin. I did not expect any whitening and brightening results from this scrub because I know nothing can change our original skin color apart from some heavy bleach like kojic acid and hydroquinone. It did not help me in removing acne scars, black heads and white heads. Wanna know more? It is harsh on my sensitive skin! :( but the only good thing about the product is it does not dry our my skin or broke me out. Overall, this is an average-good scrub for normal-dry skin types. If you're skin is skin is extra sensitive, then do not go for this.

Pros of Lotus Herbals WhiteGlow Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub:

• Affordable
• Available easily
• Its not drying; hence dry skins will love it
• Does the exfoliation part well
• Adds a little glow to the face after usage
  Does not break me out
• Works good as a foot scrub :p

I am really sorry I cant think of any other pros :(

Cons of Lotus Herbals WhiteGlow Oatmeal & Yogurt Skin Whitening Scrub:

• It claims too many things but delivers nothing
• It’s not at all a gentle product for sensitive skin types.
• Smell bad and artificial.
• Tube breaks easily and not travel friendly
• Contains a big list of chemicals.
•  Pareben is present. How could Lotus herbals says it’s a herbal product? :O

Makeup and Beauty Home Rating: 2/5 (Because it is working well as a foot scrub :p)


Recommendation: If you have sensitive nose cum sensitive skin then please don’t waste your money on this product.:( However  normal-dry skinned people may find this scrub good on their skin because it isn't drying and moreover, it doesn't break out skin.

Somehow I always think whenever I apply lipstick it makes me look more ugly :P But this lippy just proved me that was wrong: and I am really happy for that. My Experience with this Product:

Packaging: It comes in a dark violet pack. The packaging looks okay and it is sturdy enough to be travel friendly; no complaints.

Colour and Texture: The colour of this Almond Beige lipstick from Avon justifies the name. It actually looks like almond but after applying on the lips it looks so different. Sometimes it looks pinkish brown sometimes orangish brown. Sometimes brown! No I am getting confused :P I am very poor at describing colours so have a look at my swatch and FOTD. The texture is of lipstick is so creamy, buttery and soft. It is so soft that it tends to break or melt if not stored in refrigerator.

How it works: One can easily apply this lipstick over their lips without any hardness as it glides in a smooth manner. This lipstick is nicely pigmented and stays on my lips for 3-4 hours as per the claims. This shade suits almost every Indian skin type and thus can be wore daily for casual outings and even for work. Overall, this lipstick suits everyone beautifully and the lippy beginners out there can pick this without any second thought.

This is how it looks on me and sorry I was damn tired at that time!

Now come, let us discuss about the pros and cons.

Pros of Avon Simply Pretty Color Last Lipstick in Almond Beige Shade

• Beautiful colour which brightens up the face.
• Sturdy and travel friendly packaging
• The shimmers are very subtle, making this lipstick as a perfect daily wear one
• Will suit almost every skin tone
• The lipstick does not bleed
• Suitable for office wear too
• One of the best shades for lipstick beginners
• Not drying as it has a buttery texture
• Contains SPF
• I think its affordable for the worth. Avon products are available on discounts most of the time.
• Good staying power, This particular shade will stay for 3-4 hours without the need of reapplications.

Cons of of Avon Simply Pretty Color Last Lipstick in Almond Beige Shade

• The ingredients list is missing.
• Availability is a problem for many.
• Might melt in hard summers; you can store it in refrigerator though

Recommendation: I will recommend this to lipstick to every lipstick loving girl. It looks good on all skin types and perfectly suitable on both day and night.

My Experience with this Product:

Packaging
This soap is packed in a clear, thin and transparent plastic cover without any outer carton. The cover is very thin and the soap is tightly wrapped inside it. The ingredient list and product description were printed on the back side of the soap. I have no problem with the packaging because I always admire the quality of the products more than the appearance but though if this soap comes with an outer carton, it would be too much better.

Colour, Consistency and Fragrance
This soap has a fresh raspberry fragrance that takes me off the world. I could also feel some coconut oil smell (Not a big fan!) and crushed strawberry puree smell (Yummy..!!). The fragrance is so sweet, fruity and delightful. Oops! See, I am talking about the fragrance first strangely :p (Yes, that's is the first thing that attracted me a lot). Let us talk about the shape and consistency of the soap now. The soap is in strawberry red colour with a clear base. It has a rectangular shape that cannot be said perfect. The very slight irregular finish of the edges shows that it is hand-made (Yup, it makes the soap look natural too) and so this is my second point to love about this soap. The top of this clear handmade soap is light green in colour (Refer picture) and did that strike your mind too? Yes! I remember watermelons every time I see this soap. We can easily cut the soap with a sharp knife; it is not too hard or soft, but just a perfect clear soap.

How it works
I have always been a lover of clear soaps as they glide smoothly on to the skin and look cute as well. Don't you agree? Creamy or hard bar soaps turn soft and shapeless with everyday use but most of the clear and transparent soaps turns glossy and cute after water contact. They become smooth, glossy and look like some bar jelly which I always love. Most of them don't turn soft or unshaped easily as well. So, when I first opened the pack and started using this soap, I was feeling very excited as it is a clear one. As you see above, I did cut the soap into 2 halves to prevent melting ( I was not sure whether it would melt or not before cutting it); but surprisingly this soap doesn't melt as much as I expected. It just goes smooth on to the skin, lathers VERY well and removes all the impurities, sweat and odor from body skin. Most of the clear soaps leave a slippery feel on body skin but this one just did not do that! (Well, I am lazy to stand in shower for a long time you know) :P
         The lather gets washed off from the body skin within a minute and leaves skin squeaky clean but still then it doesn't leave skin dry or stretchy. I will not say that this soap has moisturizing properties but it helps to balance out the skin without stripping of any excess moisture. It leaves skin soft, supple and smooth; neither dry and nor moisturized as creamy soaps do. As I have normal to oily body skin (Especially in these irregular monsoons) this soap suits me perfectly. It leaves my skin soft and refreshed. The fresh raspberry fragrance filled my bathroom but failed to stay on my skin more than 30 minutes. Just chill, that's not a con for me at all because I just want my bathing time to be luxurious to enjoy the refreshment with a relaxing feel.
       Overall, I am just in love with this refreshing raspberry soap. It reminds me of water melons, delivers a fresh raspberry fragrance, removes impurities from my skin well, washes off quickly, leaves skin clean and soft and just fulfills all my wishes for a soap. I did not experience any irritation or breakouts on my skin with this soap usage, so this is perfect for sensitive skin beauties too. Oily, dry or normal, you can give this soap a try if you are a berry lover! This soaps lasts for 3-4 weeks depending on how we use it so no complaints about the price too. For a soap with this goodness, sweet fragrance and gentleness on skin, this price is decent.

• Has a yummy & sweet raspberry fragrance
• 100% Vegetarian
• Lathers very well; especially with a loofah pad
• Cleanses out skin in a good manner by clearing out all the impurities
• Washes out very easily with less water and without leaving any slippery film behind
• Gives a nice fruit spa bath experience at home
• Very gentle on skin; Can also be used by sensitive skin typed people
• Doesn't dry out skin
• Leaves skin soft, supple and smooth with every usage
• Doesn't melt or turn soft to hold; it remains in good shape if stored dry
• Lasts good for 3-4 weeks
• Handmade & natural; What more you need than this?
• The price is reasonable for the worth

CONS:

• The packaging could have been better (Yes! I wish for an outer carton)
• Some might feel Rs.200 is expensive for a soap but that is not a con for the worth; I am just mentioning
• Availability is a problem but you can easily shop it from their main site online

Recommendation: 
I do recommend this clear handmade soap from Nyassa to all fruity smell and clear soap lovers! You are surely going to love this product. As promised, this product suits all skin types but dry skins would definitely need a heavy body lotion after using this. Overall, it is a great natural handmade product.


Would I Repurchase?: 
Yes sure, I just love it! I am eying out for the other variants from this range and yes I am picking this same flavor again too :D

Though my mom uses this more than I do but sometimes I use it too and it is really good because it removed my dryness during winters and my heels were soft again in like 2 days of application. My mom loves this product and it did work well with her too as I could see the result with my own eyes. Her cracked heels were repairing.

Recommendation: Yes I do recommend this heel cream well because it really worked for me and my mom. I love the soft texture of this cream because of bee wax present in it. It doesn’t smell that great ( its not bad though ) but who needs to smell it it’s a heel cream and not a face cream :p

Would I Repurchase?: I will buy it again for sure. Half of it is over by now.

I just now had a steaming bowl of rice with mint chicken gravy and came back to my PC again. I received this lipstick along with some more makeup goodies from the brand long back. It's really 'long back' but lazy me didn't review it earlier. I have been using this lipstick now and then, for outings and nearby shopping visits. Let us move on to my detailed review now.

This lipstick is packed in a simple and attractive off brown thick plastic tube and the cap is sturdy enough making the product travel friendly to use. The shade is pink, somewhat fuchsia-sh with blue undertones. Soon after application, it looks bold and bright on lips but after 10-20 minutes the shade becomes subtle and soft pink, which looks pleasant and fresh. You won't find that it is a shimmery lipstick until your wear it. Yes! It has very tiny shimmers but don't worry they are SUBTLE and hard to notice. With a lip balm beneath, this lipstick spreads evenly onto the lips and covers imperfections good with 4-5 swipes [Don't expect opaque finish in a single swipe]. But yes! this lipstick shows on your lips as how you wear it. If you do 3-5 swipes, it covers all the imperfection and goes opaque pink. Whenever I am stepping out for nearby shopping or outing, I just make a single swipe on my lips and all set! I get that natural pink lips.

         While coming to the 'long lasting' claim, YES it lasts longer! With decent swipes, it lasts good for 6-7 hours leaving a mild tint. It stayed on my lips even after having boost that my mom gave :P So, in this factor, I give full marks to this lipstick. Once in a cold day, when my lips were dry I tried to put on this lipstick and failed to get even the tint. Your lips should be naturally normal [not dry or flaked like mine] or moisturized with your lip balm before applying this lipstick. for better finish. Overall, this lipstick stays long, doesn't settle into lines, doesn't dry out lips [Of course you need a lib balm yet] and for all these good factors, the price cannot be taken as a big can. This 24Ore lipstick from Deborah Milano is surely a great buy! Go ahead pinkies.

• Super PINK shade with cool undertone
• Subtle shimmer adds a nice fresh shine to the lips
• Long lasting as per the claim. You can expect it for 6-7 hours or even more depending upon food intake.
• Doesn't spread easily without a lip balm but on the other hand, it doesn't actually dry out the lips
• Even after fading, it leaves a beautiful subtle pink tint behind
• Daily wearable shade; you can either wear it sheer or pigmented as per your wish
• You have decent number of shades to choose from.
• Doesn't settle into fine lines
• Simple,attractive, easy to use and travel friendly packaging
• Worthy for the price

CONS

• Not much pigmented. You will need 4-5 swipes for an opaque coverage
• Even though it doesn't dry out lips, you need a lip balm beneath for better application; exfoliation helps too
• The fragrance of this lipstick is not bad but greedy  me expected a sweet fragrance :P

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

Recommendation: Yes! Pink lovers, go for sure. This lipstick is worth a try and the shade is daily wearable as well. [Don't get afraid of the swatch, it perfectly suits the lips without looking OTT pink] The pay off of the shade depends on how much you apply it.

This BB cream comes in a cute pink tube with a screw cap and a nozzle tip dispenser. The nozzle dispenses the right  amount of cream from the tube, hence no struggling and no messing up. Ah I forgot to say, this pinkie pinkie tube is compactly placed inside a outer carton, no doubt that's pink too :) [I am a great pink lover, hence I love the simple, cute and pink packaging]

 The cream has a slight runny consistency, somewhat in between a body lotion and a cream. It spreads smoothly onto the skin and feels light. It has a hardly noticeable floral and some essential oil mixed smell, I love it. Check the swatch, before and after pics of Vedic Line BB Cream below.

Soon after the application it brightens up the facial skin and adds that natural glow.  Dry and combination skin types will love this BB cream than the oily skin types. It gives a nice dewy finish that stays for a good time. About the blemish, wrinkles, spot covering claim, this does not help much, you still need to concealer for perfect coverage. It is surely not a good pick for oily skin types, especially in summers. It makes the T-Zone oily after a hour of application but if you are still tempted to try it, welcome a matte finish compact [And carry it on your bad too for regular touch ups] Overall,  this is semi-matte semi-dewy finish BB cream for combination and dry skin types.

    It neither makes normal skin greasy nor dry but dry skin types would need a moisturizer beneath it. They have clearly mentioned to use a moisturizer if we wish, so I cannot state the moisturizing thing as a con for dry skin types. For the price and quantity, it is a good buy. A single tube will last for months.

• Paraben free [Its a huge relief for many girls, including me]
• Doesn't tends to change skin oily or clog pores

• Not for oily skin types as it does not help with oil control
• Sometimes, it tends to change the T-Zone oily in combination skin types too
• Except the dry skin types, regular blotting and touch ups in necessary for other skin types
• Does not help in covering blemishes and spots that well, it just gives a light coverage
• Only a single shade available! It even makes my deep dusky skin look that 'white' not glowy, hence some shades should be introduced. This shade suits only fair-wheatish and wheatish-dusky skin tones. A big no-no for deep dusky and dark people :( [Including me]
• The SPF 20 is not enough, still that cannot be taken as a major con for the price and other qualities

Overall Rating: 3.5/5

Recommendation: If you have pale or wheatish to dusky skin type, then give a try. Remember, your skin needs to be of combination or dry type as well. This product is not for extra oily girls in summers. I also doubt whether it would be a shade darker on extra fair skin complexions.


Would I Repurchase?:  Surely I would if they introduce some more shades because I guess this would perfectly suit my skin in winters without drying it. I can manage the oiliness with my compact because after all I get a 'natural glow' without parabens!

Experience with this product:
Lips balms are my all time favorites, whether it is a summer or a hard drying winter. I dislike applying a moisturizer in sweaty summers and dislike using any drying face washes in winters but give me a lip balm, whether light or thick one, just with any of my favorite flavour, I will pick it up like a child picking a chocolate. Okay now let us talk about this product. I badly wanted a lip balm this summer, which can moisturize my lips in a lighter way, still with good staying power, less tint and of course with a good fragrance [Skip the taste please, I love tasty lip balms but my badness I eat them up within seconds] :P When I checked my beauty case for such a lip balm, I found nothing but this! Yes, this is a new come in my beauty case. Some lip butters are greasy or waxy or some others not at all moisturize lips enough, I just wanted the perfect 'light one' for summer and this took my heart.
     This is a smooth, soft and buttery lip butter. It looks baby pink in colour from the tub but when we take it out in our finger, it goes semi transparent with a vera light pinkish tint. [I guess that wouldn't show up on any pigmented lips. It could just give that pink tint in pale even lips, that too not much] It moisturizers lips well, instantly heals the dryness and make my lips look glossy and healthy. The moisturizing effect stays good for 3+ hours without food/water intake and after that you need to reapply. Even after getting faded, my lips doesn't experience any dryness or irritation, the whole day. The only problem with this lip butter is that you cannot top this up with your lippy as it is a bit oily and may lead to bleeding of your lipstick. But that is not a problem for me actually. My hunt for a yummy smelling, light and moisturizing summer lip balm stops here, I am very eagerly waiting to try out the other flavors. Overall, this is a great buy for the price, worth and of course the divine strawberry smell!

• Yummy strawberry smell! This lip butter can escape from no 'strawberry lover'
• Moisturizes and nourishes lips instantly
• Doesn't feel greasy, waxy or heavy on lips. It goes light
• Make lips glossy and beautiful soon after the application
• Shows minimal tint on lips that would be many ladies preference
•  Staying power is decent. It stays for 2-3 for sure without any food/water intake
• Even after getting faded, it does not leave lips completely dry
• Best for everyday use in summers
• The price is affordable
• Easily available in leading online shopping sites 
• Last but not the least, it has no taste and thats the secret of the staying power actually :)

Cons

• Not suitable to top your lipsticks as it tends to bleed
• We are expecting this butter in tubes, tub is not that hygenic
• Some might find the texture a bit oily

Recommendation: Sure, this is going to be your best summer lip butter and listen strawberry lovers.. Get this without another word.

Previously I reviewed other products and this is the second last one left form Himalaya Herbals in my case. I have been using the fairness face pack too for a long time, the last one and I may be reviewing it some other time. I will be purchasing few more products from Himalaya (Yippee) and you can expect many more reviews from my favorite brand. Now lets move on to the product description and review.

My Experience with this Product

I have been using this face wash cream for almost two months and I have a lot to say about it. It comes in a sturdy tube like every other Himalaya Herbals products come and is quite travel friendly. The packaging itself is simple and cute. Every squeeze is in your control too and hence overall, goodly packed.

 The consistency is some what in between thick and runny, it has a normal creamy texture. I have no complaints about the consistency part and the cream is milky white in colour too. Isn't that cute? While coming to the fragrance part, its a bit okay-sh to be honest. The fragrance is not super sweet, floral or fruity. It has a kinda herbal with talc mixed smell which might be uncomfortable for sensitive noses. But don't imagine any bad, it is gentle, nothing harsh  or overpowering.

 When I first used this face wash, I was disappointed because of the lathering part. Gosh! It doesn't lather at all. A big squeeze gives a very little lather but then I realized it is a face wash "Cream". Doesn't it? Why should we run behind the myth that only lathering products cleanse? It is somewhat like a cleansing milk come cream that cleanses skin without leaving it dry. My skin felt instantly clean, smooth and I would say that it is perfect for everyday wash. Normal to dry and dry skinned people will love it as it doesn't stretch skin by striping off excess moisture. About removing makeup, I am not sure. You may need to go for some other to cleanse heavy makeup. I have no complaints about this face wash as it does almost what it claims. It cleanses well, softens and doesn't dry out skin. Give a try for sure, it comes in a dirt cheap price too!

2. Doesn't dry out skin. Retains moisture but not to the extent of skipping your moisturizer.
3. Perfect every day face wash for normal and dry skin types.

6. No side effects such as breakouts and such.
7. Travel friendly.
8. Contains natural ingredients like Aloe and cucumber.

CONS

1. If you are looking for a lathering face wash, then this wont be your pick. Remember, this cannot be taken as a con because this is a face wash "Cream" (They clearly stated) 
2. Contain parabens. Every other product do so, nowadays.
3. The fragrance can be improved. 

Overall Rating: 4.5/5

My Recommendation: I highly recommend this face wash cream to dry and normal to dry skin types. It cleanses and softens well even without lathering. Comes in an affordable price too, so give a try!

Will I Repurchase?: Of course I will. Being an oily skinned person, I somehow love this too, because of the softening effect.

My Experience with this Product

I love anything natural on my skin. That too Almonds? They are my favorite skin nuts. Whenever my skin feel lifeless or tanned I just smash some almonds with milk and cover it up. An instant skin nourishing mask is done. When I came to know about this skin food, I was super excited because of the almond content. The product comes in tub packaging, which is not so preferable for me but still it is okay because a vacuum lid is inside to prevent spillage. The tub is transparent, firm and travel friendly.

   A very thick, creamy rich consistency it has, as same as cow butter. The cream has a slight peachy tint, just very slight and smells good too, even bearable for sensitive noses. Due to the thick consistency of the cream, it takes little more time to get completely absorbed by the skin. The product claims to work on normal and dry skin and so I felt this a little heavy on my normal skin. I guess it is one of the best winter pick for normal skins. Oily skins never go for it because your skin will end up in looking greasy. Do you have dry skin? Then this one is best for you anytime.

This cream doesn't make skin look much greasy, but actually my skin felt greasy a bit after application. Even though it feels heavy on my normal to oily skin, I used this as a night cream to notice the results. After two weeks of usage, my skin is noticeably soft and firmer than before. It also helped reducing some fine lines under my eyes. So, overall it is a great smooth moisturizer for dry skin types as per the claim. Aloe and sandalwood ingredients are more plus. It may be pricey for few, but worthy for the results. 40+ women will love it however even young ones can try it.

PROS

1. Smooth, creamy and thick consistency which is easily spreadable. 
2. Smells good. Some herbal + nutty mix it is. Even sensitive noses wont hate it. 
3. Contains natural ingredients like Sandalwood, Aloe and Sesame.
4. Really it acts as a great skin food for dry skins! Heals and nourishes well. Worthy try!
5. Winter pick for normal skin types. Nourishes skin well.
6. Softens and firms skin with regular use. Difference in fine lines is visible.
7. Can be used as a night cream too with slight massaging.
8. A great natural anti aging product for 40+ beauties. It actually nourishes well. 
9. No side effects and I have experienced no breakouts too.
10. Pack is firm and travel friendly.

1. Not for oily skin. Do you think this as a con? Of course not because they doesn't claim (I am just mentioning)
2. Normal skins may feel it greasy on summers.
3. Tub packaging is not hygienic. I would love to get it in tube.

My Recommendation: This is a must try skin food for dry skin types. It nourishes and moisturizers well however dry your skin is. The staying power is great too. Normals, get one in winters and a big no-no for oily skinned girls.
