Mini Haul During the Pune Blogger's Meet

Heylo people :) As you all know we had a mini Pune Blogger's Meet on Sunday for which I did an OOTD post here. Today's post is about what all I bought that day :) I am sure you guys remember that I had challenged myself to buy as less makeup as possible and try and buy products I only needed and not lusted for :P So beware... My haul is actually a mini haul and contains very less makeup products :( Siiiggghhhhh... So here goes...

1. MAC Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo
With my love for Red lips, it is a wonder I hadn't bought it earlier :P

2. MAC Lustre Eye Shadow in "Honesty"
Am so glad I got this :) Reviews coming up very soon!

3. Maybelline Makeup Remover
With everyone raving about it, it was difficult not buying it especially when I was looking for a makeup remover since long!


4. Mini Desk Organizer
Yup got this to organize my ever growing collection of lipsticks... Organization post coming up real soon ;)

5. Children's Painting Palette
I am in love with Inglot Duraline and well if you use Duraline every day like I do the I suggest you yourself get a similar palette ASAP! :)

Yup! I have tried my best to stay true to my promise and well I must say that Zara did help me a lot in not getting tempted :P Anything I wanted to buy, I would rush to it and then she would push me away saying "Sam, you don't need it!"... Heheheh Isn't she a darling? :)

Oh btw when we were returning from the meet, Zara, Parita and I live around the same area and so I was dropping them off. Once I reached home and was collecting my packages from the back seat of the car I realised my MAC bag was missing. I instantly knew that Parita who was sitting behind must have by mistake picked it up thinking it to be hers :P So I gave her a call and she dropped it off the next day... The main thing I want to tell you all about is that with my MAC bag she got me a box of homemade brownies that she had baked herself! And they were just heavenly! Yum yum :D Here's a pic ;)

What To Wear: To A Blogger's Meet...

Not many of you know that we had a mini Pune Beauty Bloggers Meet this Sunday and though neither of us took any pics I thought I would still tell you all about it :) 5 of us met up i.e. Parul, Zara, Pranali, Parita and I at the MAC store in Park Plaza Koregaon Park where we spent almost 2 hours, trying out each and every eye shadow and lipstick shades on display :P LOL! The SAs know us very well by now and just let us be on our own trying out stuff and experimenting :D It's almost like a second home to us now :D he he...

Then Parul left us cause she had guests at home and the rest of us proceeded towards the food court to fuel up ourselves for the next course of the journey :D We next went to SGS Mall on MG Road and scoured through Staples to pick up stuff for reorganizing, then raided TBS and finally Westside :D What all did I buy? You'll need to wait for the next post for that :P

Pune Bloggers Meet and HAUL!!!

Yes yes yes you read it right! :D We had a Pune Beauty Blogger's Meet and though the turn out was meager but we did have a lot of fun! :D Next time we need more participation :)

Today we were three of us who met up... Zara, Pranali and I at the MAC pop-up store at Jewel Square in Koregaon Park and then after "hauling" headed towards Dorabjee's and well "hauled" again :)

So let me start at the beginning... I picked Zara mid-way and we proceeded towards KP (Koregaon Park). The first thing I said when we met was "Zara you are so CUTE"... LOL :D She really is... Cute and sweet :) And she has this cute little tooth jutting out, which is totally endearing and adds to her cuteness factor :P For the bengalis reading this post, Zara has what we say in Bengali as "haathi donto" :) We had just stepped foot into MAC when Pranali joined us and well though she isn't a blogger but is an ardent follower of ISLM, her enthusiasm to join the meet was really heart warming :) Pranali is a sweet little girl and is soo pretty :) She has this mole on the side of her nose that gives her an exotic appeal. Ok, don't judge me to be creepy about me noticing everyone in such detail! :P It's just a trait that I have (not the creepiness but the observation :P).. LOL!

After making our MAC purchases, we headed towards Dorabjee's which has this awesome cafe on the top floor with the whole cosmetics section next to it. Of course you all know we spent hours on that floor :)

Yes yes the haul pics are coming soon but you know the best part about this meet apart from the haul was the fact that when we met we weren't uncomfortable or at a loss of words. Rather we were so comfortable that anybody who would have over heard our conversation would have thought that we were really a bunch of very good friends who know each other since eternity! :P
